Ok, so I was on a 2-month hiatus. But I saw no point in LJ if there's barely any friends readin. : /
But I thought...

I just recently discovered KAT-TUN so I dont think I've figured out exactly the kind of person you are. But what I've seen has let me know that you know how to be silly & sexy at the same time ^-^ Your songs have put me in a good mood when I was pretty down or just bored. Oh my gosh. Massu what would I do if I hadn't discovered NEWS?! All of NEWS makes me happy, but you really make me smile & laugh like crazy. Your voice is adorable & absolutely amazing. You always show your outmost emotions when you sing & its incredible. Your smile is the happiest smile I have ever seen & that's probably what I like best about you. How happy you are. It makes me happy when OTHERS are happy. Your smile is absolutely contagious! When I feel sad or go through that silly stuff that makes me cry, I always listen to you. Honestly, I can't help but smile ;D When it started pourin on us & we got drenched,
'Nantoka, Narusa' came to mind, & I tried to remain happy. Thank you so much for all the joy you have provided me with. I can't help but say Thank You for bein born. xP Thank You for makin me happy in the worst of times.

So yesterday was Von's Annual International Night! Yippee!!! :D
Let me start off by saying that EVERYONE did an amazing job!
The dances were AMAZING and everyone had a lot of fun.
The night consisted of(in no particular order):

African American Club-

This year I participated in the Musical Theatre Performance ;P
It was awesome!!!

We were the closing act so we were fresh in their memories when they left lol xP
But right before us was AFC's Footwork.
And Von is just SO obsessed w/ that so I was afraid we weren't going to get a good reaction :(
(they went CRAZY for footwork, like ANIMALS!)

But we DID!
It was amazing! xP
Especially when we ripped those jackets off the guys, lol.
Check it out! It's hard to see me, but I'm the second one out. :)

Pasión ended on Friday :[
I'm still really upset, lol

The ending was REALLY good though; all loose ends were tied & everyone came back together again.

I was SO freaked out by Alberto's death! They showed the head fallin!!! x_x
I also felt bad for Lizabetha. Even if she was a horrible freak, that was just traumatic.
Claudio came back! :D And became new Lord.
Ursula left to travel the seas w/ Foreman ^_^
Don Jorge died :[
Sofía, Fortunata, & their granddaughter were allowed to stay in the Palace. :]
Santiago went to train to become a monk; his mom accompanied him, leaving Ana María w/ Camila.

Ascanio & Manuela are gettin married ♥
Vasco & Inéz are happy; Inéz is havin a baby! ♥
Mario & Ximena got together! ♥
And of course!!!

Ricardo & Camila were finally able to get married, using Ricardo's real name. They ended up being the parents of four, although only 2 of their children are biological. Ricardo finally took Paco on one of his ships, & while at sea, Ricardo & Camila look out into the beautiful horizon, finally happy & lookin on towards the future

It was a truly beautiful ending to a truly beautiful story ^_^
I'm a total nerd, lol.
But this was a novela that actually touched my heart. Through everything, they were always in love & strived to be together again.
I'm really upset it's now over, & now I have nothing to do every night at 8! xP

A Need to Invest in NEWS

So, I've been YouTubing for a while now.
Random things I enjoy that add a little joy to my everyday life.
And recently I've been seeing a lot of NEWS on that little 5x7 screen.

I've come to the conclusion, that I need to invest in some ♥NEWS♥ stuff!!!
I'm just poor though. :[ I cannot support my own needs!
This is SAD!

Luckily, I just recently got a job! :D Hopefully that will be able to support me. ;)
NEWS products here I come!
I also wanna save up though, I wanna make a really great trip after my senior year!
End wih a BANG!!!

ACTs are Wednesday!!!! x_x
I am gonna die! We've been doin nothin but practice tests for like 2 weeks; my body is sore from bein so stiff & bubbling things in!!! :[ We've done 3 "actual ACT" practice tests and I'm just happy my score keeps goin up!!! :D
I went from a 22, to a 26, to a 28!!! I hope I do as well on the real thing. ^-^

I just keep using this as an actual journaly thing.
I wish I could inform people of special events, or show & all that good stuff.
Sadly, I am slow to hear about things. :[ lol
I'll eventually find something to do that benefits everyone!

Oh my gosh!!!!
So...ok,
I just watched the first episode of Last Friends!
No subtitles,nothin, but hey, I tried to "feel" the dialogue.

I can't believed I watched it w/o anything to help me understand it though, normally I'm like, "No subs? No watchy"
But it really interested me so I decided to just keep watchin.

And I'm glad I did. I REALLY enjoyed the 1st episode.
It hit me as the sort of show w/ a meaning to it. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered.
Ah! I don't even know how to explain!

OK! Here I go.
Even though I couldn't understand a single word they said, the fact that I totally felt the emotion they portrayed amazed me!
If a show can do that to a person when that person doesn't know the language, that's saying something!
Then again I see myself as over-emotional sometimes xP

I kinda cried during the violence scene :' [
She just had seemed so happy to be moving in with Sosuke, and he shattered that.
That lamp breaking was TOTALLY symbolic of that. It represented what I just mentioned.
So I really liked that pan-view of it! (I'm in theatre, so I see those "representative props" a lot ;P )
I also liked how they ended it, brings you back to the happy, and shows that things can be better.

AND THAT KISS!!! Idk, maybe I'm just being lame now, but it seemed so full of love!
Especially after that "sleeping tear" (Ima call it that ^-^)

I also got it w/, you know, "context" clues.
I got that Michiru's kinda not liked where she works, I THINK she hasn't seen Ruka in a while, Sosuke works in like, Social Services(?), Ruka likes Michiru. But I got NOTHIN on the 3rd girl. :[

With the "Next Time..." part, I'm guessin she goes to Sosuke again...
Gah! Well, I'm oficially hooked, I gotta lay of TV...or YT in this matter.

Basically, I'm REALLY likin this drama ,lol :]
Ryo's actually really good in this role; I didn't know what to expect, just imagining it :3
::sigh:: I just needed to rant ;P (I'm hopin the LJ cut worked, never used it before)

All in all,
I highly recommend 'Last Friends' thus far. Thus ^-^

Regularity

x_x Ok! I seriously need to be more regular with posts!
I hate skipping like a week cuz then I feel like I'm never gonna get back on.
I have so little to talk about though :(

Well, I can randomly rant xP
Since Monday till today, I've been really HAPPY! :D

Pasión is getting SO good, I just bought some new manga, I've been listening to a lot of music, going to Tango practice & watching NEWS & Massu before bed has been ending my nights right, . ^_^ And not to mention that the weather has been AMAZING!
Stupid Chicago & its "Snow today, Summer heat tomorrow" weather reports!

So yeah, today was report card pick-up & no school. I did Ok. :P I had tango practice so I had to go anyway. It's amazing!!! All sexy & modern. Yeah it's a modern tango, but it's so cool!. xP Can't wait for International Night! I'm really glad Drama Club is doing something in it this year

Pasión had an absolutely awesome fight between Ricardo(main sexy pirate :] ) & some ugly drunk pirates who wanted to rape Camila! (main girl) Oh my gosh I can't believe it's ending! :[ I'm gonna miss havin somthin to watch every night! I really hope her ex-fiancé gets whats comin to him! >:-[

Well, I'm not gonna post all my happy attitude on one post. I fear I'll have nothing to talk about next time. :P
All I can say is that I TRULY hope the weather stays the same. Even though the weather report says otherwise :[
I'll just end this with a beautiful song (Adding to the happiness :D )

I recently heard this song on the 'Last Friends' PV and I gotta say it's really beautiful. It just makes me feel this peace, but like, a sad peace? Make any sense? Ha ha! Here it is. Until next time! ^_^

Ok!
So its my first ever entry on LJ!
In fact, I still barely know how to work everything! xP

Hmmm...
ok, well, before anything let's get a little common interest started! As I mentioned somewhere in my Profile ( xP ), my current obsession (because yes, I go through phases now & then) is J-Pop group NEWS, and spanish novela Pasión!

My GOSH!!!!
NEWS is just a perfect salad of men! Ha ha.
I mean just look at them! They can make say, "WOW!" "Huh?" & "Awwww" all @ the same time!!! Lol
But besides their looks they're extremely talented young men, tee hee.

Pasión is a spanish Mexican soap opera currently airing on Univision. :D
Set in the (estimating) 1800s its got pirates, love, sadness, angst, and the occasional asshole.
PIRATES! HOT pirates btw, lol.

A more serious matter...
I would seriously like to create my own layout for LJ, like on MySpace.
But would I have to upgrade to do it?
Also...what do Tags mean? Like keywords for people to search the topic? :[
Forgive my ignorance.

There's other little tweaks I don't get, but this is my main issue for now. :)

OH! Back to NEWS, I've been reading that certain new songs of theirs are "ero". I think I get the meaning, cuz I know which songs and what's so "different" about them...but what does ero mean exactly? Anyone? Yes? ^ _ ^

So I guess this is it for now...1st entry what can you expect outta me?
